The in-built Word referencing tool is a very easy-to-use citation tool to assist you with referencing your work. This referencing tool enables you to add a source and then insert an in-text citation at a place of your choosing. Once you have finished your assignment, you can also insert the bibliography at the end of the assignment which you can keep regularly updated when you add new citations within the document.
This is a useful tool for keeping track of your references throughout a document whenever you had text that you have used from other sources as it can often be difficult to match citations to used content once the assignment has been completed.
However, the referencing styles used within this tool are sometimes out of date. Please check with your tutor if the referencing styles used are acceptable.
