International Women’s Day (IWD) is a day for celebrating the cultural, political, social and economic achievements of woman around the globe. The day is also used as a call to action the acceleration of gender equality. The day is always observed annually on March 8th and is used to:

  • Educate and raise awareness for women’s equality in regards to status and pay etc
  • Celebrate the achievements of women
  • Fundraise for female-focus charities
  • Call for positive change for advancing women

Everyone can play a part in helping create a world of gender equality.
