General Referencing Guide: Collecting and organising your References

When you carry out your research and collect information to support your assignment, it is important that you also collect the details that will allow you to create proper references to those sources of information.

Note:

• It may be very difficult, or even impossible, to relocate a source of information at a later date.
• When you reference online sources, you my be required to include the date at which you actually accessed the source.
• You should be methodical and accurate in the way in which you collect and store the information that will allow you to create your references.
