Reports

There are a number of different types of reports including government reports, technical reports, and research reports.

Reports often have a group author, and often, the author name is the same as the publisher.

If the publisher is the same as the author then omit the publisher element in your reference.

A report will generally require the following elements:

  • The author(s) of the report
  • Title of the report in double quotation marks.
  • Publisher of the report (the abbreviated name of company or institution that published the report)
  • Date that the report was published
  • Date Accessed
  • URL of the report if available online
