A reference to a Facebook post generally requires the following elements:

 

  • Author's name, or username or Organisation. 
  • Year posted. (in round brackets)
  • Title (or description by using the first 20 words of the post as the title). (in double quotation marks)
  • Credit [Facebook] as the site name
  • Date
  • Available at: URL of the post. (Accessed: date)
