An Image

If you include an images from a website or book in your assignment, then you should simply treat the image like any other form of information obtained from a secondary source and provide a full reference list entry. In the body of your work, the image should be accompanied by:

  • A figure number in bold (e.g., Figure 1).
  • The image title or a brief description of the image (in Italic Title Case)
  • A caption below the image (essentially an in-text citation) with details of author, date, and page number (for images from print sources).
