The APA advises that you should not create a reference or in-text citation for a whole website.
If you wish to to cite a information contained on a website, then you should determine the reference type (e.g., report, webpage) and then follow the appropriate format.
However, if you do wish to mention a website in general, and not cite a particular piece of information contained on the website, then simply provide the name of the website in your own narrative, and include the URL of the website in parentheses as shown below.
