For a web page on a government website (without named individual authors), use the specific agency responsible for the webpage as the author.

Also include:

  • The names of any parent agencies/departments in the source element of your reference.
  • The most specific publication date possible. 
  • Some web pages display a 'last updated' date.  If this date is clearly attributable to the specific content you are citing rather than the overall website, use the updated date in your reference.
  • Do not use/include a 'date of last review'. 
  • The title of the webpage (in italics). 
  • The URL of the web page.
