Additional Learning Support (ALS)

Additional Learning Support are a large team consisting of Tutors, LSAs (Learning Support Assistants), LSOs (Learning Support Officers), Coordinators and Administrative Staff.

Each member of the team is available to discuss with you the support that Wigan and Leigh College offer.

Additional Learning Support exists to ensure that you are working to your full potential and offering support that will enable you to overcome any barriers to learning that you may have. A barrier to learning may be because of a difficulty or disability; however, you do not need to have a 'recognised' difficulty or disability to access support at the college.
