Placing a HOLD on an item
You may place a reservation (hold) on an item by simply contacting the LRC Help Desk, or by using the Library Catalogue. When you do place a hold, you will be able to specify the LR Centre at which you wish to collect the item.
Once the item is available for you to collect, an email will be sent to your college email address to notify you. It is therefore important that you check your college email regularly. Once the email has been sent to you, the item will normally be available for you to collect for seven days. After this time, your reservation will automatically be cancelled and the item will be returned to the shelves.
